We LOVE February at preschool! For the first two weeks of February we will be focusing on day/night and teddy bears…which all leads to the big Pajama Day on Thursday the 13th! Pajama Day at BCNS is an event that the children look forward to year after year. What could be better than wearing your pajamas to school, bringing along your favorite stuffed animal, and eating pink pancakes with your friends? Both classes will need a few volunteers for help with set up, making pancakes, and clean up – please let Anita or Kari know if you can help out! Our snack chair will be sending out an email with our needed supplies.
Traditionally, we celebrate Pajama Day at BCNS instead of Valentine’s Day. If your child would like to make valentines for his/her friends, please send them by mail. Thank you!
When we return from mid-winter break, our focus will shift to learning about family and home. Children love this topic, probably because it’s easy to talk about – everyone has a family and lives somewhere!
We want to thank all of you for your overwhelming support with the Special Shows last week. Every child had someone for him/her in the audience. The children were so proud of their creations (the AM class made puppets; the PM class made magical garden homes) and stories. What a wonderful preschool “family” we have here at BCNS.
