It’s the last month of school! Can you believe it? What a fun year we’ve had exploring, growing, learning through art and play, and creating lasting friendships. We will miss the children so much as they head off to summer and all of its wonderful opportunities.
This month we are focusing on gardens, worms, and seeds. The children have been busy tending the garden (our radishes and peas are looking good!) and “painting” every square inch of the playground with water. We’ve also welcomed two chicks to our classroom. We hope you’ll come in and meet our new “classmates!”
Our first ever Mud Day was a blast. There were mud cakes, mud pies, mud soup, mud castles, … and muddy kids! The creativity was amazing ~ we hope you heard a little bit about the special day at home.
The children and teachers are looking forward to our special Mother’s & Father’s Day celebration on Thursday, May 22nd. The AM class celebration will be from 10:30 – 11:30 and the PM class celebration will be from 2:30 – 3:30. Thank you for RSVPing to your child’s teacher so we know how much food to prepare.
We hope to see you on the last day of school. It’s a BCNS tradition for families to come to the playground during outside time (the last 20 minutes of school) to play, chat with fellow BCNS families, and take LOTS of pictures.
