During the month of November, the preschool class focuses on transportation and the pre-K class explores the people in our community who keep us safe, healthy, and happy – our community helpers! There is a lot of overlap in these topics as well. Some talking points with your child could include:
- Notice different modes of transportation around town. Why are these vehicles important? How are they different from each other? How are they the same?
- How do the signs around town help us stay safe?
- Who are some people in our community that help make our lives better, safer, healthier?
- How can you help others in our community?
The Kindergarten class has been reading and writing about Veteran’s Day and what they are thankful for this holiday season. They also have been observing different leaves this fall and writing about how they are unique in a leaf journal.
